Meet Lee Foster
When the mic is off, Lee is a true Hampton Roads local through and through. Raised in the Western Branch section of Chesapeake, his obsession with the airwaves started early. Thanks to a high school broadcasting program, he got his first taste of the industry at 88.7 WFOS-FM, setting the stage for a lifelong career in radio.
Though he spent a handful of years exploring other opportunities, Lee eventually found his way back home to Sinclair Communications—the same place his professional journey began.
Today, Lee lives in Olde Towne Portsmouth with his girlfriend and their dog, Scout. He’s a self-professed news junkie and a die-hard baseball fan who believes there isn’t a “bad” seat in a stadium or a “bad” genre of music. Whether it’s a symphonic masterpiece or a grit-and-glory rock anthem, Lee finds the beauty in the broadcast.
