"The Good News Broadcast" with Jimmie Gribble Sundays 9am to 9:30am

Jimmie was born in Kennett, MO, way back in August of 1944. He married the former Donna K. Brandon in December of 1963. They have two grandchildren, Angela and Joshua, from the marriage of their daughter, Rachel Leann, to Steven Jones.

Jimmie graduated from Plymouth High School, Plymouth, MI, in 1962. He graduated from the Memphis School of Preaching in 1971 and has taken college classes at Thomas Nelson Community College and Southern Christian University in Alabama.

Jimmie began preaching in 1968 at Hillsdale, MI. He preached for the church of Christ in Polk, TN the last year of His schooling at MSOP. He has done "located work" with congregations in Michigan, Missouri, and Virginia. He came to Virginia in 1983 to work with the church of Christ in Newport News. He has been with his present church since August of 1993.

Jimmie has assisted in campaigns in the States and in Bermuda. He has conducted Gospel Meetings in the States and in Canada, spoken on Lectureships and written articles for Lectureships and other publications.

Jimmie is the speaker on the Good News Broadcast, every Sunday morning, 9:00 A.M. on WNIS. He has been the speaker since 1993, following Danny Douglas, who originated the Good News Program.

Newport News Church of Christ, 5956 Jefferson Ave in Newport News. Worship services are Sundays 11am and 6:30pm with bible classes Sundays at 10am and Wednesdays at 7:30pm.

Portsmouth Church of Christ, 2130 Airline Boulevard in Portsmouth. Worship services are Sundays 10:50am and 6pm with bible classes Sundays at 10am and Wednesdays at 7:30pm.
