Bob joined the Sinclair Communications family after 22 years in broadcast journalism. Most recently, Bob was a reporter for the CBS affiliate in Norfolk, WTKR-TV. While at WTKR, he covered a variety of stories including 9/11 and its one year anniversary, the US-Iraq war, numerous hurricanes and tropical storms, two Major League Baseball All Star games and the John F. Kennedy Jr. plane crash.
Before joining WTKR, Bob worked as a sports anchor and reporter at WLOV-TV in Tupelo, MS. and WDAM-TV in Hattiesburg, MS. While at WDAM, he won two Associated Press awards for outstanding sports coverage.
Bob currently serves as the host of "Ask the Expert" heard weeknights on WNIS at 6 pm. When not helping the expert clients get their message out to Hampton Roads, Bob works as a Marketing Consultant for all five of Sinclair's Norfolk based stations.
A native of Northern Virginia, Bob is married and has two beautiful children. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and being tortured by the Washington Redskins on a weekly basis from September through December every year.
