Jeff Moreau, a 28-year veteran of the Norfolk Radio Market, performs many functions at Sinclair Communications. Moreau started his local radio career at WNOR-AM/FM in December 1979 where he logged hundreds of hours as an airborne air-traffic reporter for both WNOR AM/FM and WFOG radio. He has handled afternoon drive duties for WWDE-FM (“2WD”) twice; first in the early 1980s, and most recently for nearly a 13-year stint. Moreau resigned from 2WD in September 2005 and was spending his time not on the air, but rather in the air as a commercial charter pilot for Landmark Aviation at Norfolk International Airport. Since his return to the airwaves Jeff Moreau's distinctive voice can be heard on a numerous local and national radio and television commercials, cable TV's “Outdoor Channel, and the syndicated NEXTEL Cup racing show, “Raceline”. Jeff is an avid pilot and member of the Experimental Aircraft Association and is in the process of constructing an experimental aircraft that he hopes to begin flight-testing sometime in 2008.
